Pilar es parte de la nacionalidad Kichwa pueblo Otavalo se dedica al empoderamiento de pueblos y nacionalidades indígenas desde la permacultura y la producción de semillas autóctonas nativas y criollas. Fundadora de Muyunsay y la Red Intercultural de Semillas RIS.
